As part of the Independent Learners Program (ILP), which involves researching a topic you find extremely passionate about, our group of about 10 students met together to discuss our initatives

If you are unaware, or even aware, of who Bryan Stevenson and the EJI is, I would reccomend looking at at least one of the following

At this discussion, each of the memebers of ILP shared what topic they were researching and thus, their most passionate topic. The meeting fostered interdisciplinary discussion between different fields, spanning from immigration to AI use, and involved connecting those topics back to the power of identity and narrative, the criminal justice system not being colorblind, the role of hope and conviction, and getting closer to those suffering injustice.

I enjoyed this discussion as it allowed me to gain insight into the progress of other fellow researchers and how they felt in relation to criminal justice and other general humanitarian issues.
